What team building activities can you book at Stem & Vine?
Stem & Vine offers three sessions, each led by herbalist Brittany Williams: botanical mixology without spirits, botanical mixology with spirits, and an herbal wellness workshop. Each one needs 8 or more team members and is added to a room your team books.
Guided wine flight, +$13 per guest
Three different wines are poured one at a time while someone talks the room through each glass. The flight is added to a hosted bar package, and hosted packages start at 10 guests.
The room is billed on its own line, apart from the session, and the room price list shows each total with the service charge and Maryland tax added.
What happens in a botanical mixology session?
A botanical mixology session at Stem & Vine is a team building experience of about 90 minutes, in which everyone on your team builds two drinks of their own.
Your guide is Brittany Williams, an herbalist and educator who has been practicing herbalism for over twenty years and founded Eudemonia Herbs in December 2020. The herbal teas, syrups, botanicals and tools arrive with her. For the With Spirits version, open to guests 21 and over, Stem & Vine supplies the spirits.
The drinks rotate. Brittany's sample menu includes Indigo Tonic No. 9 and Rosie Disposition, which is floral and comes without spirits unless someone wants vodka in it. When the class wraps, each person takes home a swag bag holding herb samples, the recipes and reference materials. Outside work, the same class is our cocktail making class in Baltimore, open to any group of 8 or more.
What does a team session cost?
Corporate team building at Stem & Vine costs $55 per person for zero-proof botanical mixology, $60 with spirits or $50 for an herbal wellness workshop, plus the room, which starts at $310.00 all-in for the Stem Room on a Sunday through Wednesday.

Each total prices the room for its minimum hours, then adds the 18% service charge and 6% Maryland tax, written out as room + charge + tax. These totals cover the room alone, so the bar, the session and any food from the preferred caterer list are priced on top. The Botany Bar, Garden and Gallery and the full buyout carry a refundable $200 incidental hold. Setup and breakdown count inside the rental window, and any hour past 10pm runs at the room's rate plus $50 an hour.

Sharing the Stem Room's 2-hour minimum, a team of 8 pays $38.75 a person on a Sunday through Wednesday, a team of 12 pays $25.83 and a team of 18 pays $17.22, before any session.

Can the whole team join without drinking?
A whole team can join a Stem & Vine class without drinking by booking the Zero-Proof Experience, the full botanical mixology class at $55 a person, made with no alcohol at all.
The bar covers it too. Signature, the $25-a-guest bar package, puts zero-proof drinks on its menu next to the beer, wine, cocktails and spirits. With a cash bar, every drink counts toward the beverage minimum whether or not it has alcohol in it, so zero-proof orders from team members count the same as cocktails.

Which room fits our team?
A team of 8 to 18 fits the Stem Room, and a bigger group moves up to the Courtyard + Greenhouse at 30, the Botany Bar, Garden and Gallery at 75, or a full buyout at 120.
Brittany usually teaches in one of two rooms, the Stem Room or the Gallery next to the bar. The Stem Room doubles as our meeting space in Baltimore, with 18 seats and no bar inside, so a team that wants a bar can rent a room that has one and add the Stem Room to it for a flat $150.

Your team works among plants from Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia, each one shelved with its own region, and the wines and spirits behind the bar are arranged by region too, with Black-owned and women-owned makers at the center of the list. The building has two wings off a central hallway, so your session can run in one while another booking uses the other. How does a Baltimore team get to Stem & Vine and park?
Stem & Vine is at 326 N Charles St in downtown Baltimore, in the historic Browns Arcade. A Baltimore team can use the Charles Street meters, which cost nothing on Sundays, or any of four overflow lots close by.

How does booking and payment work for a company?
A company holds a Stem & Vine date the same way any host does, by signing the agreement and paying the deposit together, since a signature by itself doesn't hold the date. A deposit of 30% of your total or $100, whichever is greater, comes first, the balance follows in two equal auto-pay installments with the second landing 15 days before the event, and canceling inside 25 days forfeits everything paid.
What does each person take home from the class?
Every guest at a Stem & Vine botanical mixology class leaves with a swag bag holding herb samples, the drink recipes and reference materials, after making two drinks of their own. Guests at an herbal wellness workshop take home a reference guide and a swag bag.
Can our team tour before we book?
A Baltimore team can tour Stem & Vine before booking, on a scheduled appointment that includes a complimentary tasting. The tour takes in the whole building, the Stem Room and the gallery wing included, and the tour page is where to request one.
Can our team bring in food?
Food at a Stem & Vine team session comes from a caterer on the preferred list, or a team can bring in its own caterer for a $250 outside vendor fee plus a certificate of insurance. Drinks work differently, because every beverage comes through the Stem & Vine bar and outside alcohol isn't allowed.
