What happens in a cocktail making class at Stem & Vine?
A cocktail making class at Stem & Vine is about 90 minutes of hands-on botanical mixology with Brittany Williams. You craft your own cocktail start to finish, and she explains why each balanced drink works as you go.
If you've always wanted to learn how to make cocktails, this is a friendly place to start. You get hands-on creating each drink while Brittany teaches the art of cocktail making through herbs, teas, syrups and citrus: what each one adds to a glass and how they balance against each other. She teaches it the way she teaches everything, approachable and practical.
Join us at 326 N Charles St, Baltimore, MD, in a plant shop where the plants, the wines and the spirits are all arranged by where they come from: Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia. Your group books a space, and the class adds to it.

Who teaches the class?
Brittany Williams is an herbalist, an educator, and the founder of Eudemonia Herbs, an herbal wellness business in Baltimore, Maryland, that she started in December 2020.
She has practiced herbalism for more than twenty years. Through workshops, demonstrations and community programs she teaches people to work with herbs in teas, tinctures, botanical beverages and body care, and her approach pairs traditional herbal knowledge with research-informed methods.
At the heart of her work is the belief that herbs shouldn't feel complicated or out of reach. In a cocktail class, that means you do the mixing yourself while she explains what each ingredient is doing in the glass.

Can you add the class to a party you're already booking?
Stem & Vine's cocktail class is an add-on to a space you've booked, so it fits a birthday, a shower, a bachelorette or a team outing with 8 or more guests.
The room isn't part of the class price. You pick the space and the day, then add the class on top, and every space with its rate is in our Baltimore event venue pricing. For the rest of a birthday or a shower, start with our party venue in Baltimore page.
Planning team building activities in Baltimore for a company? The class gives the team something to make together, and the corporate event venue in Baltimore page covers the rest of the day.
