The Stem Room is an 18-seat meeting space at 326 N Charles St in downtown Baltimore. It books by the hour with a 2-hour minimum, from $125 per hour, and setup happens inside your window.
It's the quiet wing of the building. Workshops, strategy sessions, board meetings, trainings, small classes: anything that needs a closed door and a table everyone can see across. There's no bar in the room, which is deliberate, because it keeps the price built for daytime work.
When the work is done, the rest of the house is right there. The Botany Bar pours in the other wing, and plenty of groups end the workday there without ever putting their coats on.

Walk the shop
Ten minutes in the shop resets a room better than a hallway ever has. The shelves run by region of origin, Africa through Australia, and somebody always asks about one.

Land it, then pour
Wrap inside your window, breakdown included. If the day earned a toast, the bar in the other wing is open to the public or bookable as a reception of your own.
The breakout room your bigger event is missing
Add the Stem Room to any other rental for a flat $150 and your conference gets a private 18-seat breakout room with a door that closes.
Small conference venues in Baltimore rarely come with a real breakout space. Here it's built in: run the main session in the Botany Bar, Garden and Gallery for up to 75, and keep the Stem Room next door for the side conversation, the working group, or the quiet hour.
The building makes it work. Two wings off one hallway, two spaces with their own bar, so two things can happen at once without hearing each other. And when the offsite ends in a party, the courtyard with its own sky is thirty steps away.
Workshops, classes, and camera days
The same room that holds a Tuesday board meeting holds a Saturday paint session. Teachers and facilitators book it for classes up to 18, and the working surfaces plus the art on the walls do half the atmosphere for you.
