Event Venue Pricing
in Baltimore
Three spaces, an in-house bar, and a mobile bar for everywhere else. Every rate here is the one that goes in your contract. Let's plan it together.
What each space costs
Thursday through Saturday are peak, and setup and breakdown are included in the window you book.
How paying for it works

Sign and pay the deposit
30% of your total (or $100, whichever is greater). Sign and pay, and the date comes off the calendar for everybody but you.

Half the balance, midway
What's left splits 50/50. The first half bills automatically at the midpoint between booking and your date.

The other half, 15 days out
The final payment lands 15 days before your event, on the card on file. Then the only thing left is the party.

6 consecutive hours, starting as early as 11am and ending by 10pm.
$250 each on a buyout, or your space's own hourly rate on any other rental.
$150 flat on top of any other rental, for a private 18-seat breakout room.
Your hourly rate plus $50, any day, so a Saturday hour in the Courtyard is $275. A buyout hour is $300. Everything stops at midnight.
Three packages, and the bar is handled
Signature is the one to start with, and Reserve is the step up when you want the bar fully open. Every booking with bar access picks one of the three, or runs a cash bar, and the package price covers your first 4 hours.

Prefer a cash bar?
You commit to a beverage minimum instead, and every drink sold counts toward it.
The cash bar minimum
Every drink your guests order counts, zero-proof included. The bar tallies at the end of the night, and any shortfall goes to the card on file.

One service charge, 18%
Every booking adds an 18% service charge, calculated once on the pre-tax subtotal of your rental and your bar. One fee, never two. Maryland tax is separate: 9% on alcohol, 6% on everything else, never stacked, and your contract shows every line.
How booking works
Your guest count
The guest count on your inquiry form is what the bar bills from. Anyone above it bills at your per-guest rate, so count generously.
Vendors and music
DJs and live music are always free to bring. Other outside vendors carry a $250 fee, waived for anyone on the preferred list.
Other fees
A refundable $200 incidental hold applies to the Botany Bar, Garden and Gallery and to full buyouts. Everything else is spelled out in your contract.
The fine print
What is the deposit to hold a date?
30 percent of your total or $100, whichever is greater. You sign and pay to hold the date. The remaining balance splits into two equal payments, the final one due 15 days before the event.
Are setup and breakdown extra?
Setup and breakdown carry no separate charge. Both happen inside the rental window you book, so the hours you reserve need to cover the setup, the event itself, and the breakdown at the end.
What happens if my event runs past 10pm?
You can run past 10pm any day of the week. Those hours bill at your space hourly rate plus $50, with a hard stop at midnight. On a full buyout that's $300 per hour.
What gets added to the bar total?
Two lines: the 18 percent service charge, and Maryland tax at 9 percent on alcohol or 6 percent on everything else. Your contract shows both, calculated on the pre-tax subtotal.
