North Charles Street businesses rally for community support
When the block needed Baltimore, Baltimore showed up
After a September underground fire disrupted our stretch of North Charles Street, WMAR came to tell the story of a block asking its city for holiday support.
The fire forced businesses along the corridor to close or cut hours, and foot traffic took months to recover. Speaking with WMAR, our founder Quincy Goldsmith said Stem & Vine "was closed for two months." The segment also features our neighbors, including Luxury Nail and Spa, and the shared push to bring shoppers back downtown for the holiday season.
We're still here because people answered that call. You can read more about who we are on our about page, and find the rest of our coverage on the press page.

Keep showing up for Charles Street
The best way to support this block is to be on it. Come by for a plant or a pour, or bring your next gathering to our spaces.
